How to measure

How to measure yourself for jacket ordering.

Please let us have the following 5 measurements before you order.

1. Your Height
2. Your Weight
3. Your Chest circumference (wearing a t-shirt only).

Use a measuring tape and measure around your chest (at nipples level).

4. Your Waist circumference (at belly button level).

5. Your Lower Waist circumference (at belt level).

6. Your Shoulder circumference

With the arms relaxed and down at the side, measure around the shoulders just above the biceps. (Don’t take this measurement yourself, ask somebody else to help you so that you have both your arms down at the sides during measurement).

£975.00

A distinguished expression of early 20th-century American style, this shawl-collar Cossack sports jacket traces its origins to the 1920s and 1930s—an era when such garments were favored by aviators, motorcyclists, hunters, and craftsmen alike. Produced by notable makers including Levi’s, Simmons Bilt, Knopff, and H&L Block, the design became a defining silhouette of its time.

Our interpretation is inspired by a rare early H&L Block original, faithfully capturing its distinctive character while elevating it through modern craftsmanship. True to the period example, it features a clean zipper front, a softly rounded shawl collar, and elegantly shaped arrowhead patch pockets—details that lend the jacket both presence and individuality.

The silhouette offers a uniquely refined aesthetic, subtly reminiscent of the A-1 yet distinguished by the absence of knitted elements and enhanced by angular side gussets that allow for adjustable waist fit. While many originals were produced unlined, we offer a selection of linings, providing versatility and comfort without compromising historical integrity.

Executed with immaculate workmanship and exceptional attention to detail, this jacket stands as a timeless fusion of heritage design and contemporary refinement.

The piece on display is crafted in Victory Horsehide Seal, complemented by medium-brown stitching—an elegant, heirloom-quality garment that embodies authenticity, character, and enduring style.
