How to measure yourself for jacket ordering.

Please let us have the following 5 measurements before you order.

1. Your Height
2. Your Weight
3. Your Chest circumference (wearing a t-shirt only).

Use a measuring tape and measure around your chest (at nipples level).

4. Your Waist circumference (at belly button level).

5. Your Lower Waist circumference (at belt level).

With the arms relaxed and down at the side, measure around the shoulders just above the biceps. (Don’t take this measurement yourself, ask somebody else to help you so that you have both your arms down at the sides during measurement).

Rough Wear 23380

Rough Wear Clothing Co. - Contract/Order No: W535ac 23380

Rough Wear 23380

£875.00

The 23380 was one of the A-2 contracts won by the famous at the time Rough Wear Clothing Co. of Middletown Pennsylvania and was made early during the war in 1941.

It has all the characteristics of the earlier and later Rough Wear contracts as they have practically remained unchanged throughout the whole period. These include the large collar, wide straight epaulets, the softly curved with a rounded center point pocket flaps, zip reinforcement stitching etc.

The 23380 also known as “twin label” is the only Rough Wear made with the “Property” label. These jackets seem to have been made exclusively with russet leather.

5 Star General Douglas MacArthur who signed the end of WWII aboard the USS Missouri on behalf of the Allied forces wore a Rough Wear 23380 A-2 jacket.

We make an impeccable reproduction of the original.

Jacket on display made with Liberty Horsehide Russet, dull orange lining and olive drab thread.
